LORs: I feel like I have strong letters. 2 professors I've built strong relations with, 2 doctors from clinic, a manager from the glasses shop, and coordinator for children's vision screenings.

Not sure if my school list is balanced or not. One of my main concerns is that the only clinical I have outside of the ophthalmology stuff is a volunteer at ED (not sure if I should be worried about that). Also, I want to make sure I dont have too many top schools.

Any help is appreciated.

I’ve seen differing opinions. Please help.

I recently got my MCAT score back and scored a 514 with a 124 in CARS. I’m happy with my overall score, but I’ve seen older posts suggesting that some schools screen out applicants with a low subsection score. Does this mean I should avoid applying to schools where a 124 is below the 10th percentile for accepted students?

Reason I’m asking is being I don’t know what schools specifically do this except Emory.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
