Title: Non-EU psychiatrist looking for a way to move to Baden-Württemberg

Hi everyone,
I’m a psychiatrist from a non-EU country and I’m trying to move to Baden-Württemberg.
I already have German at B2 level and I’m preparing for the medical recognition process. The problem is that I can’t seem to get started: employers usually want someone who already has a work permit, but I need a job offer to obtain one.
I’m open to working not only as a doctor but also in other healthcare or medical-related positions while completing the recognition process.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or knows employers who hire non-EU healthcare professionals and support the visa process?

Hi everyone,
I’m a psychiatrist from a non-EU country and I’m trying to move to Prague to work there while learning Czech and then continue the medical recognition process. The problem is that I seem to be stuck in a catch-22:
Most employers don’t want to hire me because I don’t have a Czech work permit/residence yet. But to get an Employee Card (work residence permit), I first need a job offer😫
Language schools I’ve contacted don’t provide visa support, so I can’t move to Prague just to study Czech.
I’m not even looking for a psychiatrist position at this stage. I’d be happy to work in healthcare in another role (medical assistant, clinical research, pharma, administrative healthcare jobs, etc.) while learning Czech.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Are there employers in Prague who hire non-EU citizens and help them obtain an Employee Card? Or is there another realistic pathway that I’m missing?
