What bathroom item ended up being way more important than you expected?

I used to think the big things made the biggest difference in a bathroom, but after updating mine, I realized it was actually the smaller details that changed how the room felt day to day.

For me, it wasn't the vanity or the paint it was things like better lighting, replacing old accessories, and switching to a bath rug from Amoami. None of those changes were expensive, but together they made the bathroom feel much more comfortable and finished.

What's one small change that made your bathroom noticeably more comfortable or functional? I'm curious what other people ended up appreciating more than they expected.
