New MD vs established DO

Before I hear everyone say always choose md over do hear me out. I’ve been accepted to MD and DO school. The MD school is NSU which is far from home. The DO school is NYITCOM Long Island campus. I have been rlly considering cardiology or GI or pain. I also have elderly grandparents I am really close with and idk how much time they have left so I’d like to spend as much time w them as possible. Here’s my pros and cons of each. Lmk ur thoughts and what I should do.

NSU MD:
Pros: MD, no DO stigma, less boards and no OMM, more opportunity for competitive specialty?
Cons: more expensive, far from home/ no support, lifestyle cost because I am not living from home, newer school (started in 2017), away from grandparents

NYITCOM:
Pros: close to home/ support, save more money, no need to do chores/ more free time, online classes, able to take care of my elderly grandparents
Cons: 2 board exams, do stigma, harder to match competitive specialty
