Has anyone any experience of the various shafts available on Temu… I’ve seen you can pick up a ventus black with adapter and grip for c. £25… how do they compare?

Recently started playing again after about a 13 year hiatus and could use some advice.

Current driver is an old 10.5° Burner SuperFast. I’m older now, less flexible, swing speed is definitely down, but I’m actually driving it reasonably well most of the time and consistency is slowly coming back.

I’ve found a really good deal on a Ping G430 Max 10K with the stock Alta CB Black stiff shaft… but it’s a 12°.

Problem is I’ve got no opportunity to try it first, and I’m worried the extra loft could turn into moon balls / ballooning.

My normal miss is out to the right.

Am I overthinking this? Is the jump from 10.5° to 12° likely to be dramatic in a modern head like the 10K?

Part of me thinks the forgiveness/confidence boost alone could be worth it. I recently swapped my ancient Odyssey White Hot #9 for an AI Jailbird S2S and the difference in confidence was massive.

Wondering if a modern forgiving driver could have a similar effect.

Talk me into it… or out of it.
