Boss Hub

Wouldn't it be cool if Nexon created a public bosshub map like monsterpark but bigger where u could select any boss and teleport there instead of clicking on planner or whatever to each map 1 by 1 to fight the bosses? It'll have all the necessary shops (although buff shop is in sequence) but it'll be neat to have. After receiving the rewards u just teleport back to the bosshub map and select the next boss. It would make the process easier and most importantly i think it would be pretty cool seeing everybody on the same map. Noobies can ask for help or advise kind of reminding me of cra map and others can look for party there. There are a lot of channels too so it wont be too overcrowded

Got bullied for liking MapleStory part 2

so last week, i posted a confession about being bullied by my coworkers for telling them that i play maplestory. The discussion thread however got deleted because of "spam" even though what I posted was real and a post to be taken seriously.

For those who didnt read, Ive been getting bullied after admitting to my coworkers that I play maplestory in my free time. Believe it or not, these are grown men we're talking about. My nickname is "mushroom boy" over there but well not anymore. I took many of the comments to heart and well yesterday, i quit on the spot after being laughed at and called mushroom boy for the 100th time. No two week notice. No goodbye. Did not say a word and left. They lost a valuable worker yesterday. I grind at work like i grind in maplestory, absolute focus and precision.

Today, i woke up with a smile on my face. Instead of going to work and working in a toxic environment with toxic people, i woke up, applied for new jobs, logged on to ms, spent 50 dollars on the new momentum pass, and proceeded to wap for 4 hours. I feel liberated.

Please let this story be an inspiration to others instead of something to be laughed at. Do not let people bully you for being different. You dictate your own life, do whatever you want that makes YOU happy

Got Bullied for liking Maplestory

I have a confession to make. Last week I got bullied at work after telling my coworkers that I play a 2D mushroom game.

Last week, one of my coworkers asked what I do in my free time, and I told him that I like gaming. Typically normies would say something like hiking, cooking, sports, etc. But me, i said just gaming. Okay thats fine but then he asked what games I play. I hesitantly told him MapleStory, and that it's the only game I really play. He had no idea what it was, so they looked it up. His first reaction laughter. He laughed right in my face and called me a loser.

Now since that day, every time I walk in to the office, everyone calls me mushroom boy. Apparently he spread it to everyone in the office. I now want to quit work and quit maplestory. I dont know what to do with myself. I want to grow up.

Done with this game

Unbelievable amount of battle passes. I've played this game for 5+ years but im officially done. How many passes since cw3? Like 6 or 7 now? These are 30, 40, 50 dollar passes. MAYBE 1 or 2 of em are fine but 5+ in 2 months?! Are they serious? THESE ARE 40 OR 50 DOLLAR PASSES. Yes no one is forcing you to pay but I started reboot because it was free to play friendly. I was fine with vac pets even though the price tag on those is absurd. But these passes are absolutely the last straw for me. Might get down voted but is this really what you guys want for the future of this game? Yall will say "see you in a week" but I promise yall there are a lot better games out there that will respect your time and money.

Edit: Also I want to say this, the people who are not worrying about the passes now, imagine what it would be like a year or 2 from now. Already 7 passes in 3 months right? Faster progression but also pet passives that give you additional damage and the latest one now they added a permanent totem both which isnt all that impressive right? But i GUARANTEE you guys, they will start adding shit like a permanent pottable badge and/or vac pet (with other additional perks) locked behind a $100+ dollar pass, something similar to those making this game purely p2w. WHAT A STEAL! What's stopping them from doing that a year from now if no one is here to complain? It'll only get worse before it gets better. So keep defending this company, i'm tryna address the issues now but keep downvoting lol

Please Nexon

So many players including myself are not able to complete this week's erda request because of the bug they haven't fixed. Losing a week's worth of erdas is devastating especially in the first week of challenger world. Almost reset and they most likely won't even address it. Upsetting

So is it still locked for everyone else or is it just me. Its unlocked on Kronos but hasnt reset in challenger world

Set Goals

For new or returning players getting back into MS next week, Id recommend setting clear and achievable goals. it makes the game way more fun and rewarding

First started during COVID and the most enjoyable moments have came from working toward specific milestones. During my first real run at this game, I aimed to solo CRA, which was really tough at the time for me, then moved up to normal Lotus/Damien and cpap. Felt really rewarding finally achieving RA and fafnir gear. Took a long break after that but those were 1-2 years of learning a lot about the game. (this was before 6th job)

I was on and off after that but I truly came back for CW1 and managed to solo Hard Lucid, something I never thought Id achieve. Of course it was a lot easier because of the rewards and 6th job but it was really rewarding nonetheless. Took another break and came back for CW2, I set a goal to solo all Ctene bosses and get the Genesis weapon and I’ve since been able to comfortably solo Ctene on my main and a couple of mules. I love Ren

After another break, I returned recently and started working toward soloing Black Mage (currently at Phase 4) and also progressing on Seren, which is pretty damn difficult so far.

With CW3 coming up, my goals are to eventually solo black mage, seren, maybe the boss after that, the new challenger boss, and reach level 285 for the first time. I’m a pretty casual player who doesn’t grind much, but the game is way more enjoyable when you set achievable goals. The game is fun even for casual players

Erel

For anyone who has been playing Erel on test servers and/or watching streams of erel, how is the class looking so far? Is it clunky? Is it fun or does it look like a fun class so far? Just give us some thoughts on this post as its for those who will be playing erel on cw3. I am personally thinking of picking erel or hayato. Thank yall

Luminous

Deserves more love. Very underrated class. Have played a lot of characters and I think luminous is one of the more esthetically pleasing and fun classes to play. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.

Also greatest origin skill in the game
