Are foreign products that are manufactured within the EU acceptable?

I understand it would be even better if its fully European but isnt companies moving their manufacturing industry to Europe also a good thing and worth supporting if there is no optimal alternative?

Also im not talking about software products for instance where the US could still have a lot of influence over it but more like normal physical products.
