Bruce was very unexpected. We had to let go of Beatrice, our pittie mix, after a long, hard slog with cancer. We were tipped that Bruce was in a kill shelter. We didn’t think we were ready for another dog, let alone one that resembled Beatrice (Bruce is a bully/pittie mix).

Turns out Bruce saved us as much as we saved him.
