I’m looking for some help from people who are more experienced with vintage Champion NBA jerseys, especially those who know the 90s/early 2000s pieces really well.

I recently came across these two Champion Orlando Magic Shaquille O’Neal #32 jerseys, and I noticed a clear difference in the bottom-right/jock tags.

The first three photos are of the first jersey, and the following three photos are of the second jersey. I’m posting both specifically so they can be compared side by side.

I’m relatively new to collecting Champion jerseys. I didn’t collect jerseys back when these were originally produced.

What I’m trying to understand is why these two jerseys have different jock tags.

Could anyone with experience in vintage Champion jerseys explain:

• What is the reason for the different jock tags?
• Are they from different production periods?
• Could one be an earlier/later version?
• Were there different versions for the US and European/international markets?
• Is one of them a reissue or later reproduction?
• Are both tags consistent with authentic Champion jerseys from the Shaq/Orlando Magic era?
• Does either tag raise any concerns regarding authenticity?
• Are there any other details on these two jerseys that could help distinguish the versions?

I’d rather learn from people who know these pieces inside out before making a purchase.

I’m trying to decide between these two Mitchell & Ness Tim Hardaway jerseys, and I’d love to hear which one you guys prefer.

Both are Mitchell & Ness, both are Tim Hardaway, and I believe both are legit. The white one is the Home jersey, while the black one is the Away jersey. The black one is actually one I found and I’m considering buying.

So purely from a style/looks perspective, which one do you think is the better Miami jersey?

Personally I like both, but I’m curious which one you’d pick.

I’m looking for some advice from people who collect basketball jerseys and have experience buying jerseys online.

I recently purchased a Dennis Rodman Adidas jersey on eBay on July 15. The seller created a USPS shipping label on the same day, but since then the tracking has remained stuck on:

"USPS Awaiting Item"

According to USPS tracking, they are still waiting to receive the package, which makes me believe the item has not actually been handed over to USPS yet.

I contacted the seller politely to ask for an update and to understand if there was any issue with the shipment. However, instead of addressing the shipping status, the seller focused on my delivery address and questioned why I would send the package to a hotel.

They replied:

For context, the shipping address is a hotel in Seattle, Washington, where I will be staying from August 9 to August 12 during my trip to the US. I placed the order on July 15, almost one month before my stay, specifically to give enough time for delivery.

I have done this with other eBay purchases for the same trip. Other sellers shipped their items normally, the packages arrived at the hotels without any problems, and the hotels confirmed they are able to receive and hold packages for guests.

That is why I don't really believe the delivery address is the actual issue here. If the seller had shipped the jersey within a reasonable timeframe, there would have been plenty of time for it to arrive before my stay.

My main concern is that the seller still hasn't explained why USPS has not received the package. The question I asked was about the shipment status, but I haven't received a clear answer about that.

According to eBay's process, if the item is not delivered by July 27, I can open an Item Not Received request. After that, the seller has a few days to respond or resolve the issue, and if it is still not resolved, eBay can step in. At that point we are already getting close to July 30, which makes the timing more stressful because my trip is approaching.

I’m curious what people here think:

• Has anyone experienced a seller creating a USPS label but not actually shipping the item for several days?
• Is this something that sometimes happens with eBay sellers?
• Would you just wait for the eBay process to start, or is there anything else you would do?

I’d really appreciate hearing from collectors or anyone who has dealt with similar situations.

I'm stuck between two Clippers jerseys and I genuinely can't decide.

Option 1: Reebok Elton Brand ( pics 1-7)
Option 2: Nike Lamar Odom (white) (pcs 8-15)

I usually have a soft spot for white jerseys, so that's definitely giving the Nike an advantage. On the other hand, Elton Brand is such a classic Clippers player, and the Reebok era has a lot of nostalgia.

Assuming both are authentic and in similar condition, which one would you pick and why?

• Which one looks better?
• Which one has aged better?
• Which one would you rather have in your collection?
• Which one do you think is more iconic?

I'm completely overthinking this at this point, so I'd love to hear your opinions before I pull the trigger.

I actually posted this Elton Brand Reebok Clippers jersey a little while ago asking for a legit check.

One member (thank you for pointing it out!) noticed something that I hadn't paid much attention to at first, and after taking a closer look, I found it a bit unusual as well.

The neck tag says:

• Hecho en USA
• Fabriqué aux États-Unis
• Hecho en EE.UU

The Spanish wording is what caught my attention, since I was expecting something like Made in USA and Hecho en EE.UU

I'm not saying the jersey is fake—this is simply the only detail that made me curious. I'm genuinely interested in learning whether this is a known Reebok variation or something uncommon.

Has anyone come across this exact neck tag before?

I'm looking for a legit check on another used Laphonso Ellis Denver Nuggets Champion jersey (the first 6 photos).

I'd be pretty confident that the first Ellis jersey is authentic if it wasn't for the NBA logo, which looks a bit odd to me. It could simply be due to age, wear, or repeated washing, but I'd really appreciate some opinions.

I found these two used jerseys on eBay and I’m trying to decide which one is the better pickup in terms of condition, quality, and overall value. The two options are: LaPhonso Ellis – Denver Nuggets – Champion Jalen Rose – Denver Nuggets – Champion I uploaded photos of both jerseys (just scroll through the pictures to see each one).

From the photos, which one looks like it’s in better condition? Is there anything specific I should be paying attention to with these older Champion jerseys (stitching, cracking, fading, stains, tags, etc.)?

I’d also appreciate any thoughts on which one you would personally choose and why.

Did Adidas ever make NBA Hardwood Classics jerseys? I found this Rodman jersey that actually looks pretty convincing, and it even has an NBA Store hang tag. I honestly can't remember if Adidas ever released Hardwood Classics, so before I get too excited... what do you guys think? Legit or am I missing something?
