Celebrating my Birthday Solo in Paris
Hi all! In a few weeks I will be taking my first solo trip ever to celebrate my 40th birthday in Paris. Obviously I have a list of things I want to do (Louvre, catacombs etc.). I am also envisioning myself spending a lot of time just wandering around the city vintage shopping and eating pastries lol
I would love to come up with some ideas to make the trip more "special" to commemorate such an important birthday for me. For example, if I had an unlimited budget I would stay at the Ritz and order breakfast in bed on the morning of my birthday but unfortunately that is not in the cards for me. I did recently learn that I could go to the Ritz for afternoon tea so I might do that instead.
For the day on my actual birthday I was thinking I might visit Versailles since it is something I have always wanted to do and kind of has that "special" feeling attached to it but I am sort of thinking I could come up with something better for the actual day.
I would love to hear any recommendations you ladies might have for me. Thank you!!
