When I bought the car in April the passenger side was covered in hard water deposits. Used turtle wax scratch remover and it worked so perfect I did the whole car and waxed it as well. Came out great!
I recently decided to join Sunbird and it's left me to a point where I can no longer receive text messages. I disconnected everything from sunbird the other day and decided to just stick with Google Messenger. However I noticed that my messages would send perfectly fine but receiving messages is something that I can't do because my phone number is still registered as an Imessage number technically even though I cut everything from Sunbird. A phone restart, airplane mode for an hour, restarting Sunbird and trying again, log in to Apple to make sure my account wasn't locked, deregistration of my phone number with Apple DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO FIX IT. I contacted Sunbird support and have not received anything from them as of yet and I am at a loss trying to figure this out. I don't know what to do anymore if someone can give me advice or help on what to do next.
Found a gas station with REC90 and the Z seems to love it. Wayyyyy better gas mileage and noticed it was the same price as regular here which was strange

A couple of weeks ago i installed the K&N intake which i originally wanted to go with the Takeda one but didn’t wanna risk a CEL since ill be moving to a state that does smog. At first just the K&N gave the car a tiny bit more pep not much but noticeable and also noticed my MPG did not change. Car revved a bit freer and added a nice induction sound and it felt a bit more responsive. Beforehand i needed to downshift and put it in Sport to even pass someone. Today i decided to install the Ge8 Fit RB1 manifold and was extremely easy to do surprisingly, while i was in there i decided to change the spark plugs with factory recommended NGK Iridiums and they were definitely due for a change. Off the bat the car started right up and while revving in neutral there’s definitely a bit more induction noise than before. Took it for a spin and didn’t really notice a difference until i really hammered the pedal and felt more torque in the midrange and at higher rpms but it’s too soon to tell if my mpg’s will change. Overall im happy with both upgrades and will leave everything else stock for now.
Looking at these 8 hole injector upgrade that are remanufactured from OEM ones. From my understanding these can potentially give you a smoother idle experience and better fuel atomization from the extra holes. Had 12 hole injectors in my first car which was a Jeep and definitely felt a difference but does anyone have experience with these in the Z’s?
Ordered this kit off of 9thgenee since i have aftermarket wheels. Completely tricks the system into thinking you have perfect tire pressure and sensors. Note now you obviously have to check it manually now but as a temporary fix for 100$ including shipping it’s a steal. Still have a VSA and hill start assist light but i heard that it could be the 12v battery or the yaw sensor.
Hey guys. Just an update on my android radio so far i give it a 5/10. It looks beautiful however since i have the EX navi with factory sub it was a PAIN to install. Had to buy a special metra 70-1730 harness and route the blue wire directly to red power which caused a hiss at all times even though i was running directly to the stock AMP. I needed splitters and even a ground loop isolator which did eliminate the hissing and random noises but when booting up it hisses before it comes to the home screen and stops. Also need to buy a fuse tap for a powered subwoofer i tried installing, because no setting on these radios can turn on the AMP-CONT wire that is attached on the back. Sound quality is not the best either and neither is the build quality. Could’ve just been my radio since i wanted to be a cheap ass but if you want something that “works” but look nice then this is the route to go.
Going to attempt to overhaul the interior of my Z. Not sure what other interior colors these cars came with but the chrome pieces make me sick lmfao. They have little cracks and are faded asf so i chose an Alcántara material to mess around with, ill be doing the door panels and wrapping the door handles black to match a well as doing the headliner someday. Anyone else done an interior wrap on their Z?
Whats up CR-Z gang. Im looking into radiators for my new CR-Z and i found this on Ebay. I saw the koyo radiator which is obviously going to be much better quality but does anyone have these Ebay radiators installed? A lot of K guys and B series guys use these with no issues. The quality of the welds can sometimes be a lottery where you can get good welds and some that look like crap. Or should i save up and buy the Koyorad?
