So in the mid 90s, I was going to elementary school in Texas and there was this school book (i forget what subject it was) but the book may have been blue. Anyways, on two pages in the book, there was an illustration of a whole bunch of people in a mall with hamburgers EVERYWHERE. Does anyone remember this book and where I can find it? Thank you!
"Hello good afternoon,
I (f) am emailing you guys out of concern for my safety and well being, as well as other residents at (residence). I have been avoiding sending this email, but things kind of escalated today regarding the gentleman in (apt #). For me, this goes back to last year. I had moved in and been in my apartment for about a month or so, when I first ran into him. I was walking to my door and he was coming out of his. He said hello to me and I passively said "hello" back but I was trying to focus on getting into my apartment. Something told me to wait to put my code in and good thing I did because I looked and he was standing right there next to me, in full view of me putting my door code in. I looked at him and he finally left. About a week and two days later, he gets these ring cameras on his door. And normally, I could care less, except for 1) the interaction we had a week before and 2) his camera(s) was facing my door/keypad. One day I decided to knock on his door to ask him if he could possibly move the camera in a way that is not in view of my door. This was on or around October 19th, 2025. He did not answer the door, so I left him a kindly worded letter. I told him that I think its great that he has ring cameras but that I am a little uncomfortable with the way they are positioned and if he could possibly change where they are situated on his door/ledge. (I never asked him to or implied that I wanted him to completely remove them). A few hours later, he was banging and I mean banging on my door. Long story short, he was yelling at me the entire time (I audio and video recorded it). I was calm and couldn't even get a word in, while this man asserted himself the entire time. Saying all kinds of random, crazy things like, "I helped build this building" "I know (lead prop. manager name)" "I'm here to protect you" (which I told him I don't need him to protect me). He also said something about people getting evicted. I can't even watch the video I recorded that day, because it makes me wince. At some point, while he was still yelling at me, I realized the conversation wasn't going anywhere, especially with him talking over me and yelling at me. So I just closed the door. For the next few minutes, he stood outside my door yelling and calling me all kinds of names, telling me to "go back where you came from!" and "she don't know who tf I am!" At this point, he was on the phone with someone. I have tried to avoid him entirely after this.
On December 19th, 2025, I heard a (f) resident in unit (apt #) having a verbal altercation with him. I don't know all the details of their argument, I will let you guys talk to her about that, but the gist of it was that he had said or done something that upset her. When she went back into her apartment, he came out of his, and threatened her. He said "keep that same energy when my wife talks to you tomorrow." Sometime in between then and now, he's put three cameras on his door. And there have been other instances of him allegedly recording and harassing her. She's said that he's basically been harassing everyone in the building and today, when things escalated, she told me that the neighbor who lives next to me, told her that she is happy the police are involved now because her mother is afraid of him.
So today (female) called the police because he is basically still harassing her and already threatened her several times. Again, I will let you guys talk to her about the details of that. I heard her outside and wanted to advocate for her while she talked to the cops because of my own experience with this person. Besides the verbal altercation I had with him last year, I am not 100% sure whether or not he is recording/watching me as well and it bothers me. It is not right or fair to have to live with this kind of uncomfortability and hostility. Every time I leave my apartment or come home, I am on edge because of him. The altercations, the smoking, the harassment, its a lot"
For more context, I have continuously had to deal with the strong odor of cigarettes coming from his apt and into mine (he lives across from me) and smoking, per our lease agreement, is not allowed. A few hours after the cops were called, I saw and recorded him and his "wife" outside his apartment, calling the other neighbor (f) all kinds of names. This "wife" of his may have also tried to get on the elevator with me one day. Like I was aaallllllll the wa at the other end of the hallway, she had come out of her apartment, a few seconds after me (i was taking my trash out at the other end of the hall) and she tried to wait for me.
