Help with rebuilding my RAID 5 in new DXP 4800 Pro after failed HDD
I have a DXP 8800 Pro that I was using in Australia with no issues. I had 4 x 16tb HDDs in RAID 5 but due to the size of the NAS, I decided to leave it in Australia and buy a smaller one when I arrived in Canada. On arriving in Canada, I bought a DXP 4800 Pro and noted that one hard drive was not being recognised when I attempted to rebuild the RAID. I bought a new hard drive which is recognised, but I get an error when I attempt to rebuild the RAID as it only recognises the 3 original/old drives in the original RAID I built.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can rebuild the RAID without losing all my data? My understanding is that you can replace one drive and rebuild the RAID without losing data, but I'm wondering if this has been complicated by switching to a new NAS
