I have health anxiety and I’m freaking out that my gums look swollen.

I went to the dentist yesterday after 3 years and he said I had moderate to severe gingivitis. Some of my numbers were 1s,2s,3s,4s, and a couple of 5s. I still breastfeed my baby and tbh went through a depression where I wasn’t the best on brushing my teeth. How bad is this? Dentist wants me to go back for a deeper cleaning which I will be doing.
