I used to think that line was cruel.

Now I think it’s the most honest love letter MCR ever wrote.

It’s about being seen when you’re at your worst.

Eyes that have cried too much, stayed up too late, stared at things no one should have to see.

Eyes that carry the weight of a world that’s broken you over and over.

And someone still looks at you and says:

"Yeah. I see all of that. And you’re still beautiful to me."

That’s what this song feels like.

Not pretty. Not clean. Just real.

And for a lot of us, real is all we ever needed to feel less alone. 🖤
