A few photos of my RS. I’ve had the car for 9 months and I just love it!

Recently part of my basement partially flooded, and appears to be because of water pooling in the corner of my house. Discovered a few holes in the siding where cable lines ran and the siding wasn’t flush against the foundation and framing so there was also a hole under the siding. It looks like the grade was sloped towards the house and with all of the recent heavy rainfall, I’d assume that’s how water got in over time (looks like it’s been happening for a bit). There is an underground drain where the gutters from the roof connect so we aren’t sure if that backed up or if there is a drainage problem below ground.

From the pictures, you can see the existing interior holes, a temporary fix to the gutters to extend them to the yard, where the rocks/pebbles meet the foundation line, the exterior holes taped up for now, and how the yard slopes towards the house as of now.

We are in the process of landscaping the yard and grading it away from the house while putting a French drain in. Any suggestions or advice? All is welcome please!
