📍Passu Cones Gojal Valley, Hunza Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan 🇵🇰

Rising high above the Karakoram Highway, the iconic Passu Cones are among the most breathtaking mountain views in northern Pakistan. Known for their sharp pyramid-like peaks, these majestic mountains stand over 6,000 meters high and attract travelers, photographers, and nature lovers from around the world.

The beauty of Passu becomes even more magical during sunrise and sunset, when the golden light touches the rocky peaks and creates an unforgettable scene. Surrounded by peaceful villages, fresh mountain air, glaciers, and the stunning landscapes of Gojal Valley, this place truly feels unreal.

For the local Wakhi community, the Passu Cones are more than just mountains, they are a symbol of culture, identity, and pride. Nearby attractions like Passu Glacier and Batura Glacier make the whole region a paradise for adventure and nature lovers.

Without a doubt, Passu Cones remain one of the biggest highlights of any trip to Hunza and Gilgit-Baltistan 🇵🇰

Need Help with a Gravel Patio!! I’m a noob!

I am in dire need of support to make my wife happy and create a gravel patio that her TikTok algorithm has exposed her to. I am having trouble with some parts to it because of course my area where I am doing it is not a clean slate like most on TikTok.

First, I have a small concrete sidewalk leading to the garage. Is it possible to just put limestone rock over it? Do I still try to cover it with landscape fabric?

Second, the lawn had some holes in it that my dogs made. ChatGPT is saying I should use paver base to cover them before I place the fabric. Should I instead use cheap top soil to level everything out?

Third, this is my first time place blocks. The driveway is somewhat jagged but there is still a defined line. Do I place the blocks on the edge of the driveway or in the dirt?

I appreciate anyone’s support in getting this project done. Last thing, does anyone have any good recommendations for reliable sources for future projects? Either books or websites?

Milky Way at the wonderland

Drove 4 hours Friday night chasing clear skies for Milky Way photography, and Yosemite absolutely delivered. Captured the Milky Way rising over Tunnel View, then drove another hour up to Glacier Point to shoot the full arch before sunrise. Totally worth the sleep deprivation.
Here are some of my edited shots from the night — hope you all enjoy them!

Anyone know what this grey pvc pipe with a string sticking out of it is? It's built into the concrete slab in our backyard.

We moved into this house in 2020 and this pipe has had us stumpped ever since. Its about 4ft (121cm) from the edge of the slab. The string is made of nylon and we can pull it out about 6in (15cm) untill we can't pull it anymore. The irrigation system is pretty extensive in the yard, so maybe its part of that? But water has never come out of it. We also think it could be some kind of abandoned attempt at installing electricity to this part of the yard? We also haven't smelled any gas, and have tested it with a carbon dioxide detector. Let me know if there are any other details needed. The pictures have measurements.

I build premium scrolling websites for businesses that want a stronger online presence

Hey everyone,

I run ChatMinds, where we design and develop premium websites with smooth scrolling motion, cinematic visuals, and interactive sections.

The goal is to make a business website feel more modern, high-end, and memorable, not just another basic page online.

These types of websites work well for service businesses, real estate, construction, creative brands, restaurants, beauty businesses, startups, and personal brands that want to look more professional and convert more visitors.

I recently created a short video showing the type of scrolling website experience we build.

If your business needs a modern website with strong visuals, smooth animations, and a more premium feel, feel free to message me.

A lake that looks like a dream; Lago di Braies

Nature doesn’t rush, yet somehow it creates masterpieces like Lago di Braies, Dolomites, Italy.
