Hi everyone

Building a new (budget friendly) PC mostly for CS2 and other fps games but I am not 100% sure which CPU to buy. On one hand I know about the 3d cache but is it worth spending 2x on it? From what I know, 9600x is the next best non x3d cpu so I wanted to ask if some of you have it and what you think (how good is it in cs2)? I know about other x3d cpus on am4 but kinda wanted to build on am5 to maybe upgrade later. Btw intend to play in 1440p on mid settings. The idea is not to overspend for marginal gains basically.

So what would you say about it in terms of price-value?

Besides that I will be using a RTX 3070 (have it already) and a 160 Hz monitor (will buy together with the new build).
