Tantrums?

Ive had my dog since they were 3 months. At about 6 months she started throwing herself to the ground and flailing and biting me and the leash. I was distraught and confused at 1st but then I realized she was throwing a tantrum. She slowly stopped doing it during training so I thought she was done. But then she started doing it because she wants to play and gets frustrated that I dont do it the instant she wants it. Shes more prone to flailing on the couch and throwing off the pillows and blankets now and she stops when I say something to her. Is this something she’ll just out grow or is this something all dogs do? Shes my 1st dog so I had no idea how many little human kid traits they had until now. Its not destructive, its just mildly annoying.
