Hi! I had quite a big hatch with very good numbers however, I have one quail with some kind of issue going on. I’ve attached a video, but it consistently has its neck stuck out when standing, like a very upright position. It seems like it’s constantly adjusting its crop or yawning rapidly. More concerningly, it seems very off balance and seems to stumble backwards quite often when it’s not laying down and just walking around the brooder. It’s still at least attempting to eat, drink, and scratch in the shavings. I’m wondering if it could be stargazing? Something is clearly happening neurologically, and I’m wondering how concerned I should be. Thanks!

This is a little gross, hence why I marked it NSFW. But I’ve attached a picture of my first chick born with an unabsorbed yolk. I will say, it’s extremely lively, active, it doesn’t smell weird, it’s completely normal minus this thing. The color is just throwing me. I’m hoping it’s a weird color because it’s drying up and going to fall off soon. I believe it hatched 8-12 hours ago. Any thoughts? Hopefully someone else has seen this and it looks ok?
