The DLC that needed for PVP

The DLC that is needed for PVP. this is the basics to build from.

Overview: A zone like DD, with 3 factions fighting for control over a central Super testing station.  Each faction has a static fortress from which players can embark on quests to gain influence for the landsrad, trigger events and upgrade and build on the captured outposts.  A faction expands control via captured outposts to reach the goal of the conflict, the super testing station, a 16-man dungeon.  below this is the lost testing station designed for solo play giving a chance for the same rewards to all individuals.  Note Player always enter on foot, no access to orni-storage same as broodworks etc.  All resources collected in zone are used in zone.

Two changes to current game would include:

(1) Landsradd changes: Players accumulate points, their is no cap or lock until the close of the landsrad.... the faction with the most points has the influence of the house at the time of closing.  Landsrad houses have there own missions within the battle map for influence gains.   

(2) Introduction of a third faction.

Follow on details - FEATURES: Map, factions, player death, locations, outposts and testing stations and progression.

FEATURES

The MAP, Dune Awakening Spice Wars battle map: All players fight for their faction as enlisted or mercenary.

- Overland Map: players can fly there from the overland map - upon zone in they can choose to either fight for their faction or enter as a mercenary for their faction.  

- Haga Basin: Talk to your Faction Quarter master to enroll in their factions' forces - a transport will be the loading screen to the battle map.

Factions

Harko, Atreides and Smuggler - Emperor or another House, i will go with Smugglar for this post.

Death on the Battle Map: A defeated player drops all inventory (same as DD).

- What is Mercenary: A mercenary player can enter the map with their personal gear.

- What is Enlisted: A enlisted player will use faction armor and weapons, gain influence within the Rank structure (Progression).

Key locations

Harko Fortress, Atreides Fortress, Smuggler Fortress 

- inside Fortress static instanced, (zone in and out), provides access to missions, crafting, resource allocation for base upgrades and respawn point.

- outside Fortress, event triggers, utilize and defend upgrades, vehicle spawns, quest/mission npc's and respawn points.

Capturable Outpost - event triggers, utilize outpost features, quest/mission npc's, build sites for player construction to enhance defense and functionality, respawn point.

Spice Fields - capture field outpost to gain access to spice silo/harvester garage. (spice collection and processing provides landsrad influence).

Super Testing Station - Capture Testing Station outpost to gain Super testing station access code, Faction that initial captures codes has access to the Super testing station until reset. (16man group dungeon)

Lost Testing Station - located below the super testing station, access via super testing station or via access points from fortress.  (solo play extraction).

Outposts

Capture outposts to expend faction control, can only capture a outpost linked to faction fortress.  To Capture a outpost, the 4 npc officers must be eliminated and each of their control consoles must be activated together within 30secs.  a single console capture takes 30 secs to complete.  Once activated, 15min is required before the outpost changes faction and new troops appear to man the outpost, if any one console control is lost the process shuts down.  Player structures and outpost upgrade can be destroyed, if not, only the upgrades remain on capture.

Bonus location ideas: Freemen ambushes (random event).  post your ideas for fun.

Super Testing Station (S.T.S.)

A 16 man group dungeon, this dungeon and the lost testing station both provide access to a new loot item, (upgrade module - upgrade any blue print by 1 level, basic thru to 5 and provides the option to re-roll a single stat.  Access to the STS can only be gained by your faction having the access codes to main door.  (other factions can capture the STS outpost and place access within enemy control, this does not stop access to the door, just makes it more dangerous as this is the only entrance).

Lost Testing Station (L.T.S.)

A solo dungeon experience, with a 30–60-minute timer to get in, locate loot and extract.  The dungeon changes each week with new doors opening and others closing changing the layout.  The dungeon is more of puzzle, navigation and discovery with monster encounters being limited.  How it works, access via ventilation tunnels from the main fortress (load point), with a random entry point so to break up groups.  Upon entry the lab is filled with a posinous gas (places a debuff with a 30 minute timer once timer expires the player surcomes to the gas), the gas also causes all players to look like dungeon enemies to each other and draws furthers enemies to attack.  Once a player has been exposed to the gas they require 72 hours before they can under go exposure again, any attempt will only increase the gas effect on the player shortening the timer.  Players must find an exit point to extract.

This could work as a single instance for all to enter at any time, or personalized instance to guarantee a solo experience.

Event Triggers

players complete mission to gather resources or complete crafting contracts, once enough has be turned in the event triggers.

- Faction NPC assault - Npc forces move to attack/re-enforce targeted outpost.  target selected on trigger.

- Vehicle spawn - collect resources  

- post your ideas for fun.

Spice Field

Collect Spice using spawned harvesters and deposit in the faction spice silos.  As the spice processes influence is gained for a designated house in the Landsrad.  

Progression

Players start as enlisted rank of private, items and gears is selected and equipped at a player equipment locker, where players can inter-change their gear setup.  Vendors and fabrcators provide access to better gear.

Fighting for a faction, you will gain ranks, each rank brings bonus and access to faction vendors.  All players can gain the enlisted ranks, but only the most dedicated can be come officers, each officer rank brings bonus features to player while within the battle map.  Officers have access to a officer lounge and vendor for specialized gear and upgrades.

Officer Ranks highest to lowest Rank 1 through 10 each with a different and limited player count.  Rank 1 player count (1), Rank 10 player count (100). example.

Special upgrades include protected gear slots, any item personal or enlisted can be utilized and will be safe from loss on death. 

More can be added to enhance the addition of a battle map between the factions; the game has great potential.
