So I been checking for these online for weeks since they dropped. They were only at this one specific Target 28 miles away from me. Gas being $5-$6 per gallon had me saying “I’ll wait until they show up at a Target near me.” Well they never did. I found them on Amazon in an all 3 flavors set for $56. I’m not paying $56 for only 24 cans of Waterloo no matter how bad I wanna try them lol. So I caved and said screw it, 28 miles isn’t that far. Well, yes it is. Lol I wouldn’t go back there again. Anyways when I got there they only had the Apple Pie and Coconut Cooler on display but not Root Beer… So I had to ask an employee about them and she went in the back and got me a few cases. I got 3 cases of Root Beer and 2 of both Apple Pie and Coconut Cooler. I didn’t wanna get too many in case they weren’t good but didn’t wanna get just one in case they were. Took me like 45 minutes to get home lol. I threw one can of each flavor in the freezer for 20 minutes so they would chill a little. The Root Beer Float is amazing. 10/10 instant classic. Added to my top 10 fav list. Apple Pie Al Mode is decent, doesn’t tasted like their Spiced Apple Waterloo but you can taste Apple and Cinnamon with a little Vanilla Ice Cream flavor, I would get it again. The Coconut Lime Cooler I didn’t really like, I feel like it would be better without the lime flavor. Polar’s Toasted Coconut is one of my fav sparkling waters, I drink that everyday.
I have been waiting on a Root Beer or Cola flavored Waterloo (or any sparkling water brand) since forever. Target got rid of their Good & Gather Cherry Cola and Dr Cherry Vanilla caffeinated sparkling waters which were some of my favorites. Ever since Waterloo dropped their Orange Vanilla sparkling water I always thought those notes of aged vanilla essence they have in that flavor would make a good Root Beer Waterloo and that’s basically what this is!
There are no Aldi’s or Kroger’s or other stores like that where I am. So if you’re looking for these, try Target. All I did was Google “Waterloo Root Beer Float Target” and it would show results for ordering delivery or pick up (with the city that the Target that has it in stock is in). You can click on it and check for “other stores that have it in stock” and it’ll show you Target locations that is closest to you with them in stock. That way you don’t waste your time going to Target after Target. The internet isn’t always accurate though as you can order stuff from Target pick up online and yet can’t get the same items on the floor in the same store. It’s irritating lol. Anyways if you’re like me and WAITING to try these I’m telling you the Root Beer is awesome. I hope you too finds these and are pleasantly surprised.
