Took an hour drive, sorry not sorry for buying them all

Took an hour drive, sorry not sorry for buying them all

Checked Target app for any store within 30 miles that had Root Beer Float. Found one that had 8. Got there and found 7 on an end cap. Now they have zero in stock. (The seventh is already chilling). Apologies to all for bogarting. Waterloo needs to make these permanent so we don’t have to treasure hunt for them.

Need a honest opinion of new sprite lemon & mint

I am really drink sprite when ever I buy any soft drinks, I mean my first choice is always sprite

But to be very honest who had the idea to make this shit? I am really sad to say, but this is the worst lemon mint I have ever tasted. I am really didn't think I would say anything like this about Sprite, but really this is very very very bad in taste, I could not find any lemon or mint taste in it

You only get a minty and medicine like smell in the after taste and for lemon part, you only get that preservative like lomon taste. overall my first experience is very bad and I am not gonna have it again

And yess I still prefer the normal sprite with a lemon in it, it's still really refreshing. Please let me know your feedback about this new sprite

IMO this is foul. Kroger Cotton Candy 3/10 Rating

Gonna be a rough 12. It tastes like maple flavored medicine. You’ve been warned.

Root beer wars! Waterloo vs Wegmans showdown

Finally got my hands on the Wegmans root beer to do a comparison.

Bubbles - both have excellent bubbles. So a tie there.

Taste - Wegmans is very close to a root beer soda taste. While Waterloo as the name implies is going more for the root beer float flavor and has much more vanilla tones. I’m going to give the slight advantage to Wegmans here for the more classic taste.

TLDR- both great root beer sparkling waters. You can’t go wrong with either one.

It’s as good as they say. We’re goin to FlavorTown baby. Root Beer Float Edition

I was curious about this flavor ever since I saw it on here. Kind of a pain in the butt to find but I was finally successful.

This flavor is wild when you think about it like root beer float but sparkling??? Somehow it works for me. Smells exactly like one. Doesn’t have the full sugar flavor but it does hit the spot when I’m craving a pop.

I’m cutting pop out of my diet and Waterloo has been extremely helpful in me being able to do so.

What actually affects the flavor of regular sparkling water?

I have NEVER liked the flavor of sparkling water. I despise the taste of carbonation. My wife has gotten me to get several brands over the years. Waterloo, La Croix, Bubbly, Polar, etc. For the longest time, the only one that I had "liked" is Topo Chico because it was the one where I could taste the carbonation the least.

I recently tried Liquid Death. Controversy around the brand aside, I actually *really* like their mountain water. It doesn't taste like carbonation at all to me. I can't get enough of it. It's the main drink of choice in my office mini fridge now.

This got me thinking: what actually is the differentiator of flavor for regular sparkling water? The ingredient list for their mountain water only lists water and carbon dioxide. This is true for every other regular sparkling water that I have tried. What actually affects the flavor? Why do I like Liquid Death so much when other brands taste so bitter to me?

Thanks!

This is the greatest white grape seltzer I have ever tasted.

I know it is called starfruit lemonade, but this tastes EXACTLY like those Japanese white grape candies. It is so freshening during this heat wave. I need to go pick up another case.

Tried at the hair salon during a heatwave, summer in a can

Really like this one. Super summery bright flavor. Def not your average lemon lime, reminds me of capri sun island punch
Contains: triple-filtered carbonated water and natural fruit flavors.

Polar: Seltzer Pomegranate Summer Flavor.

I’m normally pretty up on Polar’s flavors, just found this, this morning at Shaws, did the five for $10 thing, I hope it’s good. If anyone has tried it what do you think?

Anything in between bubblr and Waterloo?

recently trying to switch away from soda and wife found bubblr which is actually pretty good to me. have read it’s more close to diet soda. we picked up 2 different flavors of waterloo and im not sure what people find enjoyable in that. grabbed root beer float one and doesnt even come close to root beer.

anything in the middle of these two or all sparkling waters have a different taste you have to get used to?

St. Celia Soda Company sparkling water flavor: Revelation

To be fair before I start, I hadn’t tried this earlier because of the price tag. I read that St Celia’s is a women owned business, uses organic ingredients, and only produce small batches. They do have a pretty cute image on their cans. But… I could not reasonably justify buying a FOUR!! pack for close to eight dollars. It’s flavored water, not flavored gold. However, it finally went on sale at a price I could justify buying it once. At least to review it.

The results: Confusing and definitely not worth buying it at full price.

I subscribe to the Barney Gumble theory that if I am going to spend so much extra money on an item, it has to be the best damn item I’ve ever had. This…this was not that.

It’s not horrible, but the flavor is muddled at best. It’s supposed to be Hibiscus, Lime, Serrano AND Lavender flavored, but in practice, I think the hibiscus takes over most of the drink. I definitely don’t taste the Serrano. Funnily enough, I was expecting lavender to be the top flavor, but I barely taste it, only sometimes as an aftertaste. As a positive note, the bubbles are decent, but definitely not Waterloo or Polar strength.

In conclusion, multiple flavors can work pretty well together, i.e Waterloo’s mixed Berry, Polar’s Blackberry Mango, and LaCroix’s strawberry peach. But not here.
I do think it might benefit St Celia’s to focus on fewer flavors so they can make them taste amazing enough to justify the price point.

I finally scored the elusive Root Beer Float!

After 2 weeks of searching, we finally made a road trip to civilization, plus I ended a 30+ year boycott of Target to buy it. Upon cracking the can open your nose says definitely root beer, however, my palate protests that it was deceived lol.

As many have said, in the end, it's sparkling water, no more, no less. It does at least add a bit of a fun to something otherwise mundane. Being diabetic though, it's part of my overall lifestyle changes required to manage my sugar intake and I can't stand sugar substitutes. I probably wouldn't seek far and wide to find it again, but if it is available locally I will buy it.

My oil painting of Liquid Death mountain water

Felt inspired to create this painting in a classical still life style, with this contemporary favorite liquid death!! I hope you like it!

u/TallGreg_Art — 4 days ago

I tried 10 flavors of Waterloo and this is what I think.

The ingredients are all listed as "natural flavors".

They are pictured in the order of my preference, from left to right. I would buy the first 6 (black cherry- lemon lime) again. I would not buy the last four flavors again. Cherry limeade was not bad, but didn't have much flavor. Ruby red tangerine had almost no flavor at all. Rasberry nectarine just didn't taste that great to me. It wasn't offensive, just not very good. The only flavor that I absolutely did not like is the coconut lime. To me, it tastes like unsweetened artificial coconut, with almost no lime flavor at all. I won't even finish the 7 cans I have left.

I found it!! Been looking for this flavor

I suppose its not that new, but new to me. Randomly found it at a small local grocery chain, along with packs of cans the other summer seasonal. Its pretty good! Pretty mild flavor comparatively, a light lemony iced tea flavor. Will definitely finish the pack.
