And it was not because of the folding mechanism. My Ninebot was having some braking issue and I did adjust it, but during my ride I was trying to slow down by lightly squeezing the braking lever, but it like a “delay” so I’m trying to slow it down and I guest stupid me didn’t let go of the throuttle and I jumped off and didn’t let go of the handle bar so I dragged and eventuall fell on the pavement. Luckly I had my full face helmet and armored gloves, but can’t say the same for my right knee and I fell on my right shoulder.
I managed to get up quickly and dragged the scooter off the road and found a bench. I checked the break and it was fine and then I checked the tire pressure, which turned out to be low, at 37 psi when I normally have it at 47 psi. I’m ok now, but now I’m just aching.
PLEASE be careful out there, even if you’re riding just at 15 mph, anything can happen. Now I have to make myself a first aid kid for my riding bag and also some knee guards.
