Advantages of connecting Claude Desktop to a Snowflake MPC vs using Snowflake CoWork to do NL to SQL AI?

Hi all. I've configured Claude desktop in my org (as a POC) to leverage a Snowflake MCP object to get NL to SQL / data back. Just wondering if others have done this and it better to simply force users to use Snowflake Cowork instead when they don't need to build complex workflows that utilize other tools?

My understanding (which may be wrong) is that currently when users as questions from Claude Desktop, the SF role used must be the their default role. That seems to be limiting.

Any thoughts?

2021 M3 crack in roof glass. Will this be covered by Tesla under goodwill?

Yesterday we found a 2ft crack in the the roof glass. No sign is was caused by impact from a rock or anything else. The is a 2021 with 60,000 miles Will this be covered by any sort of goodwill from Tesla? I assume it is not covered by the warranty given age / miles. I put in a service request and the estimate is $2300 CDN.

Glass shouldn't crack for no reason.

any Snowflake admins suddenly seeing the 'Welcome to Snowflake" banner in Snowsight?

Hi all.

I logged into Snowsight (Enterprise edition) this morning and the home screen now shows a new banner "Welcome to Snowflake! Complete your account setup to configure security, roles, cost management". with a link that takes you to another prompted experience screen to push you to setup things (is you are using ACCOUNTADMIN role). We've been using Snowflake for 3+ years. I have not idea why they added this and how to stop it from displaying.

Anyone else seeing this and find a way to have it not display? It's annoying as hell.
