Best tires for 2023 2WD Tacoma ... highway and boat ramp use?

I'm looking to replace the howling loud Wrangler Duratracs on my Tacoma V6 2WD with high quality highway tires that have enough grippiness for our somewhat steep Central Texas boat ramps (if we ever have water again).

My initial plan was Continental Terrain Contact H/Ts ... but Discount Tire can't get any in that are less than a few years old. They're giving me some nice credit for the Duratracs, so I'd like to stick with Discount Tire.

Considering the Michelin Defender LTX MS2, but reviews seem to indicate it might not be grippy enough for steeper ramps. I don't know how much to trust those results. Any fellow 2WD pickup owners out there have experience launching a boat with those?

I'm running 265/70R16 tires. Boat is not terribly heavy ... just an aluminum Bass Tracker setup that weighs about 2300 lbs for boat, motor, and trailer.

Thanks!

Considering a 2022 Colorado

A dealer near me has a 2022 Colorado Z71 3.6L with only 19,000 miles ... Asking price is $30 K. It's being sold as Chevy certified with the 7 yr/100,000 mile power train warranty. Looks like a great little truck, but the transmission issues I have read about give me pause.

I don't drive too much, maybe 6,000 miles a year. I'd use it to tow a 2,500 lb boat and trailer a few hundred miles yearly.

How do you 2022 owners with the 8-speed feel about your trucks?

Thanks!
