So I’m replaying Control, and this document has me tripping cause it’s one of the most redacted in game.

So what do you guys think the redacted sections actually say?

Is there really a shark monster in the Oldest house ?

It’s not like it’s also unlikely to see para-natural animals in this universe. We have already see crows and Wolves have weird powers and abilities in Alan Wake.

Although a Shark monster does sounds ridiculous, but also extremely cool. ( Hope it’s part of the lore ✌️)

In my mind, the OEZ being a failed alien experiment has been one of the strongest possible theories. This fax message kinda points towards it.

So this idea came out after watching this 2016 movie called (The Void) where I theorized that the pyramid entity in the film is actually (Yog-Sototh) from the Lovecraft mythos.

Anyways, this made me think of (The Board) since it’s also a black pyramid but inverted.

For those who have read Lovecraft, or are a fan of him, you could probably see where I’m coming from with this.

(Yog-Sototh) is one of the most involved (Outer gods) in the Lovecraft mythos, He is constantly trying to spread his influence on the planet, recruiting wizards & creating paranatural creatures, and he is also considered the (god of the gates*).

Coincidentally, (The Board) in Control, are the ones in charge of the oldest house, which is said in the game to be possibly modern manifestation of Ydgradsil.

Now a point of contention is that the board is a set of entities instead of one, but in the Lovecraft mythos Shub-Niggurath seems to also be a set of entities into one.

So what do you guys think ? Am I reaching ?
