Need advice choosing my first 2011: Jacob Grey Hex vs Hex Pro vs Kimber 2K11

I’m looking for some honest owner feedback before I buy.

I’m between:

- Jacob Grey Hex 4.25 ported
- Jacob Grey Hex Pro
- Kimber 2K11 / 2K11 Pro

Main things I care about:

- Fast and flat shooting
- Fun range gun
- Reliable enough to trust
- Not too big or annoying to carry occasionally
- Good value for the money
- Fit/finish and trigger quality
- Something premium, but not so crazy that it feels like overkill

I’m leaning toward the Hex or Hex Pro, but I’m wondering if the Pro is actually worth the extra money over the regular Hex. The Kimber 2K11 also looks really nice, but I’ve seen mixed opinions, so I’d like to hear from people who have actually shot or owned one.

For anyone who has experience with these:

  1. Which one shoots the flattest/fastest?
  2. Is the Hex Pro worth stepping up to, or is the regular Hex the better buy?
  3. How reliable has your Kimber 2K11 been?
  4. Which one would you trust most for occasional carry?
  5. Are there any other 2011s under/around $4k I should consider instead?I’m not trying to compete seriously right now. I mostly want a fast, fun, premium-feeling pistol that I won’t regret buying.
