Hello, soon my dream comes true and my RF 70-200 2.8 IS L USM Z will arrive. I need to buy 82mm protective filter due working with animals who could sometimes lick or splash mud on the front element of the lens despite using the hood.
I'm looking for something with no impact on IQ and no color shift (very important). Antifingerprint might be nice feature.
Price is not much important, considering the price of the lens and how hard it was for me to save for it. So far I picked brands as:
- Canon Clear Protector
- Hoya
- B&W
- Marumi
Is it better to get clear only, or UV?
P.S.: I understand some of you prefer no filter at all. I use hood all the time, but it is not enough for my usage. I want to enjoy my photoshoots instead or worrying about mud.
