[Progress update] I'm going to 100% complete Warframe.

It's that time again, two months since my last update (initial post here). TL;DR I created a ridiculous goal to achieve, get, do, fashion, and master everything in Warframe. Of course this comes with caveats - some things must be excluded because of limited time offers (Founder exclusives, early event rewards, etc) or because of bugs (Codex). "100%" in my case means everything else that's possible to do in the current state of the game.

So, here's what's happened since my last update from two months ago:

Current playtime: 5,448 (Steam), 2,667 (mission time)

  • More progress on the daily standing grinds. I put some of these on hold till after Tennocon since they aren't as time sensitive. Here's how much remaining standing I need from all the other factions:
    • Cetus: 1,723,000 ->1,500,500
    • Quills: 325,000 -> 750,000 oops I miscounted last time
    • Fortuna: 242,500 -> DONE
    • Vox Solaris: DONE
    • Ventkids: DONE
    • Nightcap: Field Guide complete, wares purchased, need 5,653 more Fergolyte for 10 of each nursery decoration
    • Entrati: almost done -> DONE
    • Necraloid: DONE
    • Cavia: DONE
    • La Cathedrale: Got my first tektolyst artifact; did a half dozen or so Descendia runs
    • Zariman: Effectively done. I have all the voidplumes I need so it's just a matter of time.
    • 1999: DONE
    • Simaris: 600,000 -> DONE
    • Conclave: 1,510,000 -> 1,470,000

Around mid-March, I realized a terrible truth: Baro Ki'Teer's special Tennocon relay is approaching in July, which means I only have four months left to prepare. Baro's entire inventory of everything he has ever sold will be available, and I will need a lot (A LOT) of ducats. For example, the price of everything he sold last year is 111,550 ducats and 76,937,040 credits. Now add everything he's sold since then. Now add 10 of every decoration (one of my criteria). I can't honestly say I 100% completed Warframe if all my domestik drones are lonely singles like Tagfer.

At the time I had ~8,000 ducats and have since reached ~43,000. Not even a third of the way there. Even after discounting the primed mods and other stuff I already have, I will need about 150,000 ducats in total. That equates to roughly 25 relics cracked *per day* until Tennocon...

Unfortunately I've had to take a few detours from this goal due to multiple events that came up. I had to make use of both double credits weekends when they came up. Here's the results from the first one:

  • Credits: ~330,000,000
  • Crimsa toroids: 474
  • Calda/Sola/Vega toroids: 150ish? I didn't keep a close count
  • Fortuna standing (bounty + debt bonds): 1,143,300
  • Archgun elemental mods: 23
  • Critical Focus: 2
  • Strain Consume: 4
  • Axi S18 [Radiant]: 36
  • Neo P9 [Radiant]: 33

The toroids can be traded in for copies of Magus Anomaly to sell (rank 5 goes for 100p). Fortuna standing = 57 relic packs. Archgun elemental mods, Critical Focus, and Strain Consume will eventually all be sold on WFMarket for ~400p. I had less free time on the second weekend and got about half as much of everything above.

Next up was the Follie event, which I didn't start until after the balance passes. I definitely sympathize with anyone trying to stumble through it without all the upgrades I'm used to. Once you have everything unlocked however, it's actually very easy to just dash around with Revenant, Magus Cadence, and lots of rolling. After cleaning out the event shop and getting Follie's stuff, I have 9,866 atramentum left over. I only need 2,374 more to get all the chromatic atramentum I'll need for the 34 atragraph mods. My fastest solo time was 2 minutes 11 seconds:

I've also been doing a LOT of trading. My plat balance had sunk all the way down to 200ish at one point, but WFMarket and the pile of assorted mods, arcanes, and sets I had accumulated over the years brought it back up to 7,020. When this is all over I can publish a plat farming guide if there's enough interest.

I'm hoping Belly of the Beast 3.0 is the last distraction we have until Tennocon. I'm also making time for some of the daily/weekly stuff, like Simaris standing and all the archon shards I can get my hands on. Until then, it's back to relic cracking.

Here is the full, slightly updated list of goals, with completion progress in brackets:

I bought a used 2019 Civic EX hatchback about four weeks ago (4/1). Turns out the April Fools joke was on me, since I just took it to the dealership to fix what I thought was a simple leak in the AC, hopefully covered by the 10 year warranty.

What they discovered is that SOMEONE recharged the AC system with the outdated r134a freon instead of r1234yf, and the chemical analysis came back showing it's 96% contaminated. The diagnostic notes say they removed the discharge hose and found contamination by swabbing the compressor and AC line. They recommend replacing the entire AC system (compressor, condenser, hoses, lines, expansion valve, and evap core) for a cool $10,317.29.

That's like half of the price I paid for the car. It only has 36k miles and is *exactly* the car I want, so replacing or returning it isn't really an option for me. I didn't get the warranty from the used car dealership I bought it from mainly because 1) the car is pretty new (2019 with 36k miles) and 2) I drove almost four hours to get it and would have to take it back to the used car dealership to cash in on the warranty.

I need help figuring out options at this point. Should I trust the initial diagnosis or get one from a third party? Do I really have to replace the *entire* AC system, or just the main components? From what I've read, it sounds like the toxic sludge you get from combining both freon types basically cooks the whole system but I'm not sure. How much should I realistically budget to replace the full system? I know the freon is expensive ($500ish) and the evaporator in particular is very hard to reach, but $10,000+ seems absurd.

Any other feedback or help is greatly appreciated. I love my civic and want to keep it for as long as possible, but hopefully not by throwing my whole bank account at it...
