>Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014-2020 Outlander vehicles. The liftgate gas spring cylinders may corrode and lose pressure, which can result in a gas spring cylinder rupture or the liftgate falling unexpectedly.

>Remedy

>MMNA will replace the left and right liftgate gas springs, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 17, 2026. Owners may contact MMNA customer service at 1-888-648-7820. MMNA's number for this recall is SR-26-001. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov June 3, 2026. This recall expands previous NHTSA recall number 25V507.

Am swapping in an older d15b7 motor cause i found one for cheap and am having trouble with the coolant bypass hoses and the iacv hoses not sure where these go. also need to figure out what hooks up to the back of the intake manifold where the nipple is sticking up thanks for the help

Couldn't get a picture of the other side. In short lost control on the highway (likely due to an oil slick as it just started raining was going the speed limit and once the rain started I actively started to slow down) saved myself from hitting the wall ended up going through the railing into a ditch. Luckily got away with just a few cuts and bruises. Only had it for a year and only had 25000 miles on it🥲

Its a 98 EX AUTO, I want it to remain reliable but I want to make it look nice, a little cooler than it does, and just a little more power maybe for the freeway. What would you guys do to this. (I inherited this from my dad that passed a few weeks ago, its sentimental.)

Last week I posted asking about the Kollektiv Werks no drill license plate mount, and wanted to post an update in case anyone else is curious about this product! It arrived 6 days after I ordered it, so the shipping was surprisingly fast considering it came from Canada and I am in located in the US. It was very easy to install and all the parts fit correctly. It was fairly expensive (128$ + 20$ to ship to the US). Hopefully it holds up! Also I know I need a car wash please don’t judge lol

In late 2017 I bought a used silver/black 2016 Honda Civic LX. To this day, it is my favorite car. I thought it would be a vehicle that I would have for years given its reputation for reliability and safety. Life said otherwise. One day when I was driving on the freeway. Out of no where, an SUV to my right smashed the breaks and swerved into my lane crashing into the rear of a parked car in the middle of the freeway. My natural reflexes moved the Civic into the neighboring left lane and I was hit in the rear left corner of my bumper. I pulled over into the emergency lane. In a matter of seconds I looked at my left mirror to see if it was safe to get out but I got the chills when I saw a different SUV lose control coming towards me at high speed and it unfortunately sideswiped my Honda Civic and the side airbags deployed. It hit behind the middle damaging the left passenger and driver side doors. A little smoke came out and I realized it was from the airbags deploying. So I jumped out from the right side because I couldn’t open the left side of the door. Then I looked behind me and saw around eight or more cars were also involved in the accident. Unfortunately, my silver chariot was totaled. Trying to pick up the pieces after that is a whole other story which I mentally overcame.

So I blew my head gasket on my 2022 FL1 1.5T at 46k

caught it early, before it overheated, and before I lost substantial coolant, with that, you guys think the head is warped?

Only symptom I had was bubbles in coolant which I first heard gurgling in my dash when starting it up, spark plugs look normal,

Got the intake, turbo, valve cover and timing cover off today, keep in mind I did have ARP head studs I put in in February, but it still blew,

I took a look at the valves and was kinda shocked by how decent they look, yes there’s some carbon but not as much as I thought I’d see,

TLDR: blew my head gasket, valves look pretty good

After couple years riding Mazda 3 and got written off cause of some stupid bloke.. Decided to try this shit box. Tell me what should I pay attention with this Civic 2019 and any tips? Not turbo type just normal and cheap one. Thanks a lot! Cheers
