So I blew my head gasket on my 2022 FL1 1.5T at 46k

caught it early, before it overheated, and before I lost substantial coolant, with that, you guys think the head is warped?

Only symptom I had was bubbles in coolant which I first heard gurgling in my dash when starting it up, spark plugs look normal,

Got the intake, turbo, valve cover and timing cover off today, keep in mind I did have ARP head studs I put in in February, but it still blew,

I took a look at the valves and was kinda shocked by how decent they look, yes there’s some carbon but not as much as I thought I’d see,

TLDR: blew my head gasket, valves look pretty good

So in February of this year, I did the head studs one by one method on my 1.5T civic, so far no issues, now I can’t speak for everyone when I say this but I think this is a good way to safeguard your engine, and I’m curious to see if anyone else on here had any good or bad experiences with them,

So my mom just got a rental 25 Civic Sport (N/A) and there’s a significant difference, compared to my 1.5T, it feels like what a 1.5 non turbo would drive like, I’m partial to the styling of the 25 but my 22 just generally feels a lot better, (though it’s a sport touring)

*edit my car is the black sport touring, the silver one is a rental*

Hopefully this will keep the paint cleaner, anyone have any experience with them?

Stock turbo, inlet pipe, intercooler, charge pipes, PRL SRI, 27WON bypass valve, made my turbo start fluttering a bit on throttle close,

I’m aware of the risks, just wanted to share this cool video I got of my turbo blowing off

So some people say my eyes are blue, and sometimes my eyes almost look brown in some lighting, what’s the verdict, am I a green eyed one?
