Purchasing a new 2026 honda civic sport hybrid this week. Should i be worried about the battery at all after its been sitting on the lot all of 2026? Is the battery something the dealer could potentially replace for me before purchase?
Purchasing my first Honda Civic this week, cant decide between the regular 2026 sport or the hybrid sport. My main concern is future maintenance costs on the hybrid (years down the line from now, I know) and the fact that I do not put anymore than 6-8k miles on my vehicle a year, so the gasoline savings may not even be worth the price increase for me personally. What are your guys opinions/preference/experience with the two? I am also coming from a old 2006 chevy trailblazer, so when I test drove each model they both felt the same, very smooth and fast acceleration in my opinion but that’s probably because Im comparing it to a POS lol.
