Purchasing a new 2026 honda civic sport hybrid this week. Should i be worried about the battery at all after its been sitting on the lot all of 2026? Is the battery something the dealer could potentially replace for me before purchase?

Current Tucson owners who want a hybrid but don’t like the new Tucson’s design so are looking elsewhere.

We have narrowed our choices to these two cars, having failed to find a 175-ish inch plug-in hybrid. Any thoughts on these cars in any way to help us make the final decision?

Thanks in advance for any insights.
