At a quick glance I thought, "Whaaaa? Was there a Criterion version of Gremlins?" I quickly realized "Gremlins" had slid down, exposing the top of "Hard Boiled." Silly me.

As seen on the 5700 W. block of Lawrence Ave. Pretty sure this statue is called, "Mom, I skinned my elbow. Do you have a bandage?"

If you've never seen this film, you're missing out. Mel Brooks directing Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder? Outstanding. This was the kind of Criterion release that made me glad to be a laserdisc nerd in the 90s.
