Hi folks,

I’m getting married next year, and I’m looking ahead to all of the large expenses that I will be paying for. I figured this would be a good time to open a few credit cards to take advantage of their sign up bonuses and reap the rewards. Specifically, I would love to use travel rewards to cover most of the costs of the honeymoon. Currently, I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred for general travel and an IHG card for hotels. I’m currently considering the Capital One Venture X.

Does anyone have experience with this method? Are there any cards with particularly good sign up bonuses that I should be looking at right now?
