Working on some units for my mechanicus army that will have some mechanicum style with them. These will help match my two units of skitarii rangers made from the 30k ones.

If GW won't let us play the mechanicum units in 40k, then I'll just convert them into 40k units. So I used some leftover bit from my breachers and a extra robot kit and the units from the mechanicum combat patrol box. I had to leave the right shoulder armor off the thallax to fit the kataphron destroyer weapons

After some work here are my new 40k Skitarii Rangers using the HH Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms and my Marshal. After asking my local games workshop store for advice for where to place the squad decals, I even placed one on the Marshal to that I know which unit it should be assigned to while I'm waiting to paint a second Marshal

I do love how they turned out, I also have them on the correct sized bases for 40k games, my imags don't showit but i used some Necron bits as base debris. I will eventually make a Vanguard unit later as I still have ten left to build, i might get another box of Battle-Pilgryms to make two units of Vanguard
