Hi, Looking for a room starting August 1st, ideally in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Jersey City, or Hoboken — anywhere within ~40 minutes of Hudson Yards. Near the 7 train or easy connection to it is a huge plus.
I recently started a new job working as an IT professional. I’m out of the apartment most of the day. When I’m home I’m usually gaming (Switch or PC), at the gym, or convincing myself I’m about to go to the gym. I keep it reasonable on weeknights (usually wrapped up by 10), can go later on weekends. Common areas stay clean, my room is my business.
I’m considerate above everything else. You have work tomorrow? I’m not slamming doors at 2am. I just ask for the same energy back.
I also come with: dining table, coffee table, Nespresso machine, air fryer, blender, and rice cooker — basically a fully furnished kitchen I barely touch. All yours to use. (And I Have a place to send them if you are in no need of more appliances or furniture lol)
Looking for:
- Room under $1,600/month, utilities not included in that number
- In-unit laundry preferred, or close to a laundromat
- Roommates around my age, young professionals, chill vibe
- No dealbreakers on pets — love animals
Open to joining an existing setup or finding people to sign somewhere new together, though if you already have a place lined up that’s honestly a plus given my schedule.
