There's some burnt umber in all the recesses, and white oil in the plasma but I think the model is too dark to show it off really
The reaver squad is finished. I ill do catulan reavers in all black rather than the regular ones
I'm running out of ideas for decoration lol. Anything else aside coins and skulls?
This is a mix of the older cataphractii and tortuga bay. Making the older models taller wasn't so difficult but the arms definitely seem slightly too short lol.
I just wedged some greenstuff under the waist and cast some plates with blue stuff just to make them a bit less snatched
Superglue on the resin is a nightmare. My fingertips are fucked lol. The older cataphractii have been made a bit taller but I think padding out the waist makes it better
You can see ive added skme greenstuff to make them taller. Not sure how ill pad out the waist now though. Maybe a chain belt?
These are the tortuga bay justaerin compared to the older cataphractii. I'll definitely need to edge some greenstuff under the torso lol
I've got 5 on the sprue old cataphractii coming which I'll make a whole squad with some tortuga bay justaerin.
After that I think I'll need a preator and ive got so many CSM swords and pistols that I might as well get some MK3s and make some reavers
I hear the missile launchers are better but I'm not the biggest fan of them. Using chain and making lodge coins was sick I'll definitely be adding them to all my sergants
