The previous attempt turned out too muted and too close to Word Bearers, so this time I've used a brighter, almost orange shade of red, and black instead of dark grey. I’ve slightly changed the icons as well and made them larger.

I like the red - it has just the right value, even though my result lacks a bit of volume (the preshade turned out to be very subtle). However the black is too intense to work well next to this red, so next time I'll highlight it with a more neutral grey.

Gorgon Terminator squad for my Iron Hnads arm. These models are so cool to paint with so much legion character and flavour to each one. On the table they do suffer from not having WS5 but as a baseline Terminator squad their special rules and weapon option make them a decent threat.

I drybrushed this guy with a few different silvers then washed with a 1:1:1 mix of Nazdreg, contrast medium, and gloss varnish. I think it came out pretty solid for not a lot of effort. I may wash it with a mix of purple and brown tones to add some more depth, but the slightly faded/burnished finish is already a good look, IMO.

As mentioned in the title, a work in progress but wanted to get some feedback on a Dark Angels Centurion I’m working on. Any feedback on the colour scheme? I’ve gone for AK smoke black for the base armour, Vallejo air gun metal for the trim, Castellax bronze for the standard and medallion things. A dark grey/light grey/Offwhite sponge slapchop with fleshtearers red for the cloak.

All thoughts or suggestions Will use an acrylic wash for the metallics, and an oil wash once finished. Thinking of doing one shoulder pad very dark green, to signify origin from Caliban…

I'm not a fan of the hover bikes personally. Dwarves need treads.

I’ve been working on 10 Red Butchers for what seems like forever now. They’re deceptively detailed models! I can run them as two five man squads or as one squad up to nine. I also took a quick group shot of my horde of terminators so far!

Art I got commissioned to commemorate a battle that my bolt pistol weilding champion managed to hold of a chaos lord for a whole fight. One of the highlights of my hobby carreer!
