I'm new to the game and was looking through the rulebook and the marines here caught my eye. The book calls them veterans. I can tell the heads are from the imperial fist sprue and the shields appear to be from the jumppack marine kit and the swords from the command squad perhaps, does anyone happen to know where these bodies come from? I'm interested in trying to recreate these guys.
These guys took a lot longer to complete than I thought, and I’m ready to move on from them. I did have a lot of fun with them and I’m looking forward to seeing them on the field.
The red recipe is first prime with mephiston red. Then an all over wash with dark tone. Then I airbrush Sanguine Scarlet without getting too much in the recesses. After that it’s a light drybrush of Demon Red for the highlights
Qin Xa added to my Scars. I used a lot of the new John Blanche paints for the main colours and really found them a joy to work with.

My current list is short on tank units, and for now I'm not even sure if i want to buy one. At the same time i can buy araknae for rather low price. The question is how good it'll fit "anti-tank" role? I know it's stationary, but it has some decent stats. Or I'm completely wrong and should just buy a predator?

6: My first Centurion, gave him a mix of power armour as he probably seen large amounts of combat and has decided a mixture of plates would provide better protection

Really pleased with how this model has turned out, he is going to be the praetor for my Destroyers themed army which l'll be taking along to snbattlereports No Retreat event later this year.
