Auxilia armour conversions

A few years ago, I posted a picture of my aurox conversion and people seemed to like it. It's taken a long time, but I finally finished all the tanks for my 2nd edition auxilia arm including 3 of them. Featuring converted...everything! I have more vanquisher and plasma turrets, but I think the idea is made here.

Super Earth/Helldivers army list

Basically, I got an idea in my head and decided to make a fandex document for Helldivers 2 (a.k.a Super Earth). I have ideas on the drawing board for the Automatons and the Bugs, but thought I would release this first draft now to gauge interest in whether it is worth continuing. Feel free to have a look and give me your feedback (or just tell me to stop): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/vic5ha51hjih2hcv9deli/K47_Army-List_SEAF_AUG_2026.pdf?rlkey=q9r35goig5qcrjl2lf6icbotg&st=smmijbyw&dl=0

I originally was going to do this for Warhammer 40k and the Imperium as my first list, but aside from changing the national characteristic for the Axis (not including vehicles) (models in powered armour gain +1 pen with small arms and veterans also gain +1 pen in melee, basic infantry rifles get +1 shot per 3 dudes when given a fire order from "you men, snap to", and powered infantry half all pins rounding down) then using schwere/stahltruppen as space sisters of battle/space marines/terminators and non-powered armour infantry as guardsmen/storm troopers (schreckwulfen ogryns perhaps?).

steel legion kitbashes

Hi all, I know that new steel legion are in the pipeline, but I had some spare models and thought I would give these a crack.

so these two models are:

(left) wargames atlantic british ww1 infantry with a catachan lasgun

(right) wargames atlantic raumjager with ^ head and catachan lasgun

When trying this, I originally thought about the ww1 german heads, but the british come with a gasmask tube already which makes it easier than making one. All I did for the left one was cut the goggles in the mask to make it a single piece, cut the helmet rim off (if you want british steel legion you don't need to), shaved the leg wraps down to make a boot, and cut the lasgun so it would fit the arms (lots of dry fitting required).

For the Raumjager, I did the same steps as above for the head and arms. The bigger issue for that one is getting the heads.

In my opinion, neither are perfect. I would say maybe a 6/10 for likeness on the left, and the right would be better as a storm trooper/kasrkin proxy with appropriate guns and arms (that would make it easier).

This was more of a "I did it so you don't have to" project. But feel free to let me know what you think.

Kangaroo carriers

Are kangaroos useful in k47? I know they're a bit pricey, but having a safer way of transporting flamethrowers up the field/giving protection to grenadiers seems like a good idea.

Also, they were successful irl so I'd imagine that commonwealth planners in k47 would be keen to have a way of protecting infantry from zombie attack.

Totenrotte office

Can you take the totenrotte officer as the platoon commander in other platoons (assault platoon, etc), or is he locked to the totenrotte platoon?

Panther-X & Cromwell-T conversions

A little while ago I posted my British and German armies, and it was pointed out that I should get a grav tank for the germans and a tesla cromwell, so I converted some. Please let me know what you think.

also, both turrets are magnetised so I can swap them out.

Automated Carrier Conversion C&C

Basically, I tried making a universal carrier into an automated one with some plasticard, spare sprue (the heads and bodies are sprue), and panzerfausts (the autocannons).

Have I gone too far this time?

Kommand & Konflikt Japan List

Hi All,

actually managed to finish my first Command & Conquer armies for Konflikt (please forgive picture quality), that being Japan from Red Alert 3.

Assault Platoon

Assault Frame Commander: Extra men (in red)

Assault Frame Squad: 7 men (in white with swords)

Battle Frame Squad: 7 men (in white with guns)

Shiboru Rifle Squad: 7 men, Engineers (in white with heavy weapons)

Sniper Team Veteran: Shiboru Rifle (archer)

Armoured Platoon

Chi-Ha Regular: Platoon Commander (I used the base to make it the same dimensions)

Inago Walker

Inago Walker

The whole army

On the whole, I am quite happy with how these have turned out, but is this army actually good tabletop wise?

And in case you're curious, the walkers are 40k Tau broadsides with the shins changed to the missile launcher forearms, and legs from the contemptor dreadnought used as arms. The tank is a flames of war 251 halftrack upside down for the hull, and a hetzer as the turret.

Soviet anti-tank rifles

Basically, if you take the anti-tank team from bolt action instead of the konflikt list, can you have 3 anti tank rifle teams in an assault platoon (because the rule comes from the squad, not the army list)?

I'm guessing yes, but they can't be heroes of the soviet bloc, which is definitely a good trade off to not have to get a heavy weapons platoon (although taking one would mean 9 anti-tank rifle teams).

Also, is that too gamey?

British Assault Rifle potential conversions

I've been trying to work out plastic alternatives for British Grenadiers weapons recently (I'm happy with the plastic tesla rifles I've done) but the assault rifles have been a sticking point. Previously I've used MP44's, but this doesn't seem like a long term solution as it requires getting more german sprues just for the guns. I've tried making EM-2's, but that didn't work out. So then I thought, "did anyone try to make a semi/automatic modification to the lee-enfield?"

And it turns out, they did! I'm looking at the Ekins or the Rieder rifle attachments, as all it would take is adding a rod to the side of the standard lee-enfield.

Also an option is the Charlton, which seems relatively simple to make by flipping a bren gun around and adding a foregrip.

How would you feel if someone fielded these conversions as Grenadiers/Rifle infantry with assault rifles?

Tesla Cannon conversion C&C

Hi all,

So basically, this came about because I was looking at a pen I owned and thinking "that looks like a tesla cannon..."

Long story short, I made this (also added trousers to some 8th army models).

Once again, I know I'm not the best painter, but what do you think?
