Buyer clains item defective - wants refund AND me to pay return postage??
I sold a dress which I believe to be in perfect condition (accepted a lower offer from the buyer)
Buyer claims zip broke once she had it on (design of dress has internal shorts and front zip so it comes under strain when putting on over the hips). She wants a refund.
I'm not convinced she wasn't rough with the dress when trying on but I offered a similar replacement dress or a refund. Polite - friendly.
Her very curt answer was she wants a refund - no problem - confirmed my postal address to return the dress.
Now she's asking me to send her money to cover the postage because she is out of pocket (I paid the postage to her).
This doesn't feel right - what is protocol here? Do I just pay up? Say no?
