CPMAI - Passed last week - 2 weeks prep

I cleared my PMI-CPMAI last week with just 2 weeks of prep. Here’s what I did:

I purchased the exam course bundle from PMI and went through the course material during Week 1.

In Week 2, I asked ChatGPT to summarize each module based on the exam outline, keeping it to about 2 pages per module. This was really handy for quick revision. I could go through each module in about 15–20 minutes.

I also used PMPIXEL: https://pmpixel.7c-consulting.com/

It was really helpful for getting a feel for the question style and pattern. In fact, the questions on my actual exam followed a very similar pattern to what I saw on PMPIXEL. So, IMO, PMPIXEL alone may be enough to get a good understanding of how the questions are structured.

I finished the exam about an hour early. My focus was starting to wear thin by that point, so I didn't want to overthink things.

Since I already have my PMP, the language and style of the questions felt quite familiar. Almost all the questions followed a similar scenario-based pattern:

I didn't find the exam to be particularly technical. There were very few questions focused on AI algorithms, model architecture, or deep technical concepts.

Overall, I found the exam quite manageable with focused preparation. Two weeks was enough for me, especially with my PMP background.

Hope this helps anyone preparing for the exam!
