First Attempt — CPMAI_v7 Passed

I wanted to share my preparation experience because reading other people’s posts helped me stay motivated during the process.

What worked for me wasn’t studying longer hours—it was creating a routine and staying consistent. I focused more on understanding ideas, reviewing weak topics, and testing whether I could actually apply what I learned.

My preparation approach:

• Set small study goals and tracked progress weekly
• Revisited difficult topics until they became comfortable
• Practiced regularly to improve confidence and consistency
• Avoided rushing and focused on quality study sessions
• Added pass4surexams practice material into my review cycle as a way to challenge my understanding and see which areas needed more attention before exam day

Looking back, first-attempt success felt less like a big moment and more like the result of many small study sessions adding up.

Good luck to everyone preparing for CPMAI_v7 — keep showing up and trust your preparation.

PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (PMI-CPMAI) exam dumps or practice questions?

Anyone studying for the PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (PMI-CPMAI) exam? I just started and finding it hard to locate good resources since it's pretty new. Would love to know if there are any good pmi-cpmai practice tests or dumps for this exam? I just want to test my knowledge before appearing for actual exam. Also something that is affordable.

If someone already done this cert, if you have any notes, please share.

How much does PMP knowledge transfer to CPMAI?

I just passed my PMP (literally today)! Now I'm looking at the CPMAI. I'm wondering if I should immediately pivot to studying CPMAI so I don't forget PMP knowledge or if it matters at all. For those who did their PMP and then CPMAI, how much did your PMP knowledge apply? Is taking the CPMAI while PMP is fresh in your mind recommended?

Passed CPMAI exam in first attempt.

The exam was heavily focused on scenario based questions mainly on AI project management concepts, AI governance, Responsible AI, Business and Data understanding, Data preparation, Model development and evaluation and Model operationalization. The CPMAI course purchased from PMI was useful for basic understanding of the topics however for in depth learning I relied on Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT. I also purchased the practice set of questions from PMI but these were not even close to real exam questions.

It took me about 2 months to prepare for the exam. It was self paced study mostly in the weekends.

In summary to earn this certification, thorough understanding of the course content and practice questions from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini should help.

PMI_CPMAI Cleared - What Worked and What Didn't

Anyone here preparing for the PMI_CPMAI exam? I recently started studying for it because my manager suggested adding an AI-related certification to my profile, but honestly I’m struggling to find good preparation resources since the certification still seems relatively new.

Would love to know if there are any good PMI_CPMAI practice tests, notes, or affordable study resources available. Right now I mainly want something that helps me test my understanding before attempting the actual exam because the official content feels pretty broad.

If someone here already passed this certification, please share your preparation strategy, notes, or important topics to focus on. Any guidance would really help.

Also curious does this certification actually help with project management or AI-related job opportunities, or is it still too early for companies to recognize it properly?

Thanks in advance!

Edit:

Just attempted the PMI_CPMAI exam today and passed Honestly, there still isn’t a huge amount of preparation material available online, so a few parts of the exam definitely caught me off guard.

The exam focused heavily on AI project management concepts, responsible AI practices, governance frameworks, risk management, stakeholder communication, and real-world implementation scenarios. A lot of the questions were scenario-based and tested decision-making rather than direct memorization.

Some of the trickier questions involved AI lifecycle governance, ethical AI considerations, project risk assessment, business alignment strategies, and AI adoption planning within organizations. A few situational questions around compliance and cross-functional collaboration were harder than expected.

I used Exam4Lead practice questions throughout my preparation, and they genuinely helped me get comfortable with the question pattern and identify weak areas. Interestingly, several questions on the actual exam felt pretty similar to what I practiced there. It cost around $45, but honestly worth it if you can grab one of their discounts.

Their exam notes were also useful for quick revision the night before the exam, especially for revisiting important topics like AI governance, project lifecycle phases, responsible AI principles, stakeholder management, and implementation strategy frameworks.

Overall, definitely not an easy certification if you go in unprepared, but manageable with consistent study and enough scenario-based practice.
