What Songs are you hoping for on B Stage

I'm going on the 8th and here is my wishlist:

The World Is Ugly

Kiss The Ring

Skylines & Turnstiles

You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison

Give 'Em Hell Kid

Demolition Lovers (unlikely I know)

My Way Home Is Through You

The Only Hope For Me Is You

Save Yourself

Bury Me In Black

FTWWW

We Don't Need Another Song About California

I know if I'm lucky I'll get a couple of these. If I just tick off one of these I'll be happy, I know I'm Not Okay, Helena and Na Na Na are practically a given so that's why they aren't included in the list lol.

I don't wanna sound gatekeepy but...

I'm fed up with people who are just coming to the shows then complaining about "Gerard burping during Cancer" or "How insensitive a guy with a bomber vest is" - this isn't coming from real MCRmy, this is coming from the casual listeners who aren't invested or knows about the lore behind the tour.

Like, it's frustrating. The guys have put alot of thought into this clearly. The cheapest tickets at Wembley are now around £40 (I got mine for like £80 so annoyed that I didn't wait lol) and for that, you're seeing a whole Rock Opera, theatrical performance. These are stadium shows too.

Like All Time Low's arena tours are far more expensive. A RØRY ticket (she's literally amazing though) in an academy is only slightly cheaper.

Seriously, people need to stop complaining.

Sorry for the rant, I know it's not people on Reddit.

For those going to Wembley Stadium that are not cisgender or are cis and get misgendered

I saw a TikTok of a guy with some horrible experience of a guy who got told he shouldn't be in the mens toilets by a member of Wembley Staff have posted his video in the link.

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNRTqD4aB/

This doesn't mean Wembley Stadium is transphobic it means this individual member of staff.

We are all there to have a good time and I know a lot of us are not cisgender or are gender non conforming in some way.

Just something to be aware of for MCR, also thinking out loud, creating an MCR LGBTQ+ Safe Place group chat for Wembley on case people get into issues for LGBTQ+ People and allies only and to be used in emergencies like this, or if someone's feeling down or wants someone to meet them somewhere.

What are people's thoughts? If we're going ahead with the group chat, I'll create one using either Signal/WhatsApp.

Update: Am creating one and opening it up to anyone from all UK shows.

Does anyone have some advice?

So this is actually quite hard to type. So I currently identify as non binary and using they/them pronouns. I was assigned male at birth but this never really "fit" and I never felt comfortable with any binary gender group.

However and here's the caveat, when being misgendered when someone uses female pronouns she/her, it doesn't really offend me but it's being misgendered using he/him pronouns (just to clarify if someone is doing it on purpose, I always accept that it could be an accident) that it gets to me.

There is a part of me that thinks is it more fluid or is it just I love the fact when Terfs intentionally try to misgender me but still get it wrong (proving that you can't "tell") although I know I'm definitely not male.

Also I only came out at the age of 29 three years ago, I've changed my name legally via deed poll and use Mx. The thought of having to "come out" again feels scary and I also don't want to play into the narrative that "non binary doesn't exist it's just a gateway" and end up by changing my pronouns again playing into this inadvertently.

Also I've looked into Gender Affirmiing Care and was put on a waiting list, years for the NHS GIC years ago now and haven't heard back, I've also looked into this privately and it's so expensive.

I just don't know where to go or who to talk to about this so posting here.

Where we are currently on rejecting the guidance.

MP's have 40 days to reject the guidance this ends on the 30th June I believe and 95 on an Early Day Motion is actually really good as some take weeks to sign these motions normally.

Party by numbers who have signed the EDM supporting trans people

Liberal Democrat: 43

Labour: 36

Plaid Cymru: 5

Scottish National Party (SNP): 5

Green Party: 4

Independent / Other: 2

Social Democratic & Labour Party (SDLP): 1

Ref: 0

Cons: 0

Total Active Signatures: 95

Translates to percentages of the Parliamentary Party

Lib Dems: 59.72%

Labour: 8.96%

Plaid Cymru: 100%

SNP: 71.43%

Greens: 80%

Ind/other: 15.38%

SDLP: 50%

Reform: 0%

Cons: 0%

Important things to note:

Of course larger parties will have significantly less of a percentage due to more diversity of views however with the Labour Party this is significantly low and signals why the Lempkin Institute has put the UK on Red Flag alert on trans rights.

The Lib Dems have a significant majority on 59.72% of their parliamentary party and is a pretty standard percentage wise and is expected to increase during the week.

The Green Party on 80% and Plaid on 100% and SNP on 71.43% shows exactly how significantly smaller parties can agree more easily on an issue.

Reform and the Tories on zero shows how little respect those parties have for a group 4 times more at risk of violence than any other demographic despite being less than 1% of the population.

The MPs that have signed it are on the correct side of history.

Please write to your local council and MP.

We need to be honest about feelings

I would be absolutely lying if I said this weekend has been easy.

Maybe I'm being overly paranoid and while it's nice to see the Lib Dems, the Greens and some Labour MP's come out and back us, I fear it's not enough.

For me personally, I've spent the weekend trying to hold in emotions, trying to distract myself from the bs that is the guidance.

If the MP's backing us are true to their word, they will work cross party and those of us on here that are in political parties we have to also work cross party. We need to make sure the Equality Act 2010 is reviewed and changed so that it does not discriminate.

I know there's another mass trans lobby by Trans+ Solidarity Alliance and whilst it's hard right now to go outside (at this point I'm inherently stuck indoors because of fear of the outside) we should all be there. We have to show them that we ain't going anywhere.

Forget party affiliation, we have to be here for eachother.

Without my cats I think things would have been alot worse this weekend and if anyone is struggling please reach out.

There are organisations such as Switchboard that can help.

Love you all

Lib Dems speak out on the guidance.

LGBT+ Liberal Democrats have asked for some time to fully study the guidance and Marie Goldman the spokesperson for Women & Equalities has stated that she doesn't feel is workable and a step backwards for human rights.
