I get into the angler again every few months but I never know which legendary fish is active and I can’t find a calendar for it anywhere

I just got the saint croix lake map but yet when I go to the fish monster missions it doesn’t pop up, I’ve tried restarting the game, leaving, but it still dosent pop up is there something I need to do before getting it or is it just a bug?
