Anyone here has Lyme and fibro. If yes, can you make the difference between what is Lyme and what s fibro. My doctor thinks my symptoms are due to fibro following the Lyme diagnostic since I was treated with two weeks of antibiotics. It s the flair from fibro acting up she says which I doubt. It doesn’t feel like my fibro. To clarify, I was iagnose with fibro yrs before Lyme last March
I have Lyme since March. Was put on two weeks of doxycycline. Symptoms got better for a few days only to relapse couple of weeks after antibiotics. But doctors here in Canada believe two weeks of antibiotics is enough and is protocole. In May I had heart pouding and chest heaviness. Saw cardiologist, heart is fine they say. Yesterday, went to ER for my eyes as they are read but one eye is also swollen, especially the eyelid. They said it wasn’t due to Lyme but viral cojonctivitis. I ask how since my left eye has been hurting since May along with the headache. They believe it’s separate and won’t give me antibiotics. I am worried that Lyme got to my brain because of the headache, neck stiffness and cognitive issues like brain fog. My sons are really worried about me as they already have lost their father 7 yrs ago. ER wouldn’t even discuss the pounding and shortness of breath since I already saw the cardiologist a month ago. Last night my oxygène level went done to the 88-89 and heart beat 48-49. I was feeling so unwell. Legs were hurting from the hip down, eye pain and headache. Very hard to sleep woke up many times. I seriously don’t know what to do next.
This was the rash back in March. Is this Lyme disease?
i first treated for ringworm for a week. When rash got bigger instead of better, I saw my family doctor. She did treat me for 14 days with doccycicline. Felt better for a week maybe
Now, I have joints pain that migrates, headache, dizziness and chess palpitations that also come and go along with pressure and discomfort. Nausea as well. I feel like my body is on fire as times. It just never stops the pain pops on and off all the time
Ended up in ER. ECG came back normal. Was referred to cardiologist
my questions is my bloodwork came back normal. If I was infected, wouldn’t my white blood cell count show I’m fighting an infection? I don’t understand how you can be infected and nothing shows in the blood
