could I upgrade the Mac OS to the transition version but not the newest version
because my os is very very old（original and native version when buy the MacBook） , so many software arent allowed to install, but I worry about once I upgrade the os to newest it will happen something wrong in the newest verion of Mac OS. so I want to upgrade s transition version, if it is possible to operation, please tell the operating steps
ex: 1 is the current version, 2 is the transition version, 3 is the newest version, I meant upgrade from 1 to 2, not to 3

when I upgraded my Mac OS to latest version, something went wrong
my Mac is 2020 MacBook Pro, the version is native original version, but upgrade to the latest version, it was wrong
