I need to run a bunch of statistical tests but im unsure of which ones. i have and experiment, with 4 variables, three replicates in each one, over 20 days.

my confusion comes from idk how to group them or how i should group them to create stats

i want to;

  1. eventually make a 95% confidence number (forgot what its called but this is a must)

  2. make a mean for each variable for each day

  3. find any relevant statistics/ values (p-value, T-value, F-value, anova i think)

if someone could tell me the commands to group and do any of these tests it would be greatly appreciated.

Brine shrimp university assignment

Hey, I have gotten a university assignment that involves hatching brine shrimp. However being a typical student I have left it until the last minute and there are no brine shrimp in my area at all, (I called/visited 16 different stores all saying they were sold out). I was wondering if someone was able to do the experiment (it’s pretty easy and takes afew hours at max) and then send me the results. Then you can feed the brine shrimp to your own fish.

EDIT:
In the experiment we need to try and hatch 5g of eggs in diffrent salt conditions
- no salt
- 11g/L,
- 22g/L,
- 33g/L(similar to seawater)
- 44g/L)
and were seeing how many shrimp hatch and at what times. To conduct the the experiment you need to

  1. Condition the water
  2. Add dionised salt to
  3. Add eggs and aerate frequently (you can choose optimal intervals)
  4. Note what time first eggs begin to hatch. Then every 30mins make not on how many have hatched/hatched and died) (expecting a lot to die in the salt)

P.S. you can freestyle with it Abit if you want - doesn’t have to be 1L for you Americans aslong as the salt ratio is consistent,
doesn’t have to be de-ionised salt (really becuase I know it’s a pain, I’ll just lie on my assigment)
Don’t stress about being super precise if counting becomes hard
