I applied for housing in late march and am wondering the likelihood of me securing a spot and when I'd hear about it. I'm especially worried because theres a $500 fee that is coming up on May 1st if I try to rebuke the contract so I want to secure my plan for housing before then.
Also I've heard that if I know someone that is currently past the waitlist that they can pull me off if they pick me as a roommate and am wondering if that's true (I'd be a great roommate if this is true btw).
I know about stuff like tripling and am wondering how common it is and if it is really even livable.
Finally, if y'alls answer is a hard no to getting off the waitlist I would really like a direction to finding the cheapest housing in the area 🙏🙏🙏
